Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and former supermodel. The elegant beauty of Rene Marie is reflected in her long-lasting career as an actress and performer. Her professional career started as a model for fashion in 1970, and she quickly rose to prominence. In the early 1990s, she began studying acting and theatre. Later, after that, in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo debuted on screen in ABCs Sable drama series in 1987 as Eden Kendell. In her first feature film Major League two years after she portrayed Tom Berengers romantic interest. In the course of Rose s career she has gone through periods of both the highs and lows with each times she has come out ahead. In April, 2015 Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale where she won by technical knockout less than 3 seconds into the first round One - becoming not only winning the title but also getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA as this fight marked first time ever that a women was a champion in any of the major promotions across the globe . Namajunas had a number of wins following this fight and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
